Recipes!

Hello!

I must start off this post by saying I am so stuffed from dinner. I cant believe this is even considered a diet, never have I felt so satisfied on a diet. I have lost 7.4 pounds in 10 days and each day I have more and more energy! Tonight for dinner we had Coconut Flaxseed Chicken with Roasted Cauliflower that seriously resembles French Fries! I made the breading mixture up by myself and got the cauliflower recipe off pinterest! I devoured my dinner before I could take pictures, I apologies!

Coconut Flaxseed Chicken
* Finely Shredded Coconut
* Ground Flaxseed
* Ranch Packet
*Chicken
*Eggs or Butter

I filled the bowl with half coconut, half flaxseed and added 1/2 of ranch packet to mixture. Prep chicken then dip in either eggs or butter then also in breading mixture and fry to perfection! (I fried in coconut oil)
---- Even my picky step-father and husband devoured this!

Roasted Cauliflower
*1-2 head of cauliflower
*1/4 cup of butter or olive oil
*Salt
*Pepper

Prep cauliflower by washing and cutting stems off florets, mix butter, salt, and pepper in bowl and add cauliflower. Bake at 400 degrees for an hour, flip cauliflower 3 times during baking. The browner the better!

Chocolate Mouse "Rocky Road"
*1 1/2 cup Whipping Cream
* 1 TBS Unsweetened Coco Powder
* 1/2 Tablespoon Splenda
* Unsweetened Shredded Coconut
* Pecans or Walnuts

Pour cream, coco powder, and splenda in bowl mix with electric mixture til fluffy. Add desired coconut and nuts.
--I make this when I have a huge craving for ice cream. Even though there is no marshmallows it still reminds me of my favorite ice cream Rocky Road.

Still Alive and Striving!

Hello!

--Well today is day five on my LCHF diet and I'm still alive and striving! Tonight I'm doing my second DIY body wrap! My first wrap was on Sunday and I lost about 3.5 inches off my mid section, so I'm hoping for positive results again. Ill post what products I'm using at the end of this post. For anyone whose reading, this week has come with its struggles. Breastfeeding while dieting hasn't been easy, my cravings are constant and strong, but my will power is fighting them off thank goodness. Ive lost 4.6 pounds so far and Im completely happy with my results. My biggest worry about starting any diet while breastfeeding, was the possibility of loosing my milk supply or weakening it. However on this diet, I don't feel like I'm ever starving myself and I'm eating good quality foods. Considering I use to shove  my mouth with: Oreos, ice cream, Juanita's chips and anything else that was sweet and covered with salt that could get my hands on. Along with dieting I have been going on nightly walks with my husband,daughter, and our dogs. We've been averaging about 1.5 miles each night. Within these few days I've noticed my face is starting to clear up and my sex drive is up considerably. I have felt a little sluggish during the day ,however, my body has to adjust to these new changes and that will take some time.

-My mother is also doing this diet with me and she has lost 6 pounds in 5 days.

Dieting is always easier with a partner.

My fridge is stocked with:
*Eggs
*Veggies (anything that grows above ground)
*Meat ( lunch meat and fresh meat)
*Cottage Cheese
*Sour Cream
*Butter
*Whipping cream
*Greek Yogurt (honey and original)

DIY wrap
*Farewell Cellulite Gel
*Vitamin E Oil 70,000 or 12,000
*Saran Wrap

Measure the section that your going to wrap, rub gel and oil all over section and wrap tightly with saran wrap. Let sit for an hour, wrap your self with blankets. I also use a heating pad. The key to this wrap is  to drink ALOT of water during and after allowing your body to release the toxins. GOOD LUCK!

The Journey Begins

---I am a new mother of a beautiful girl who was born February 16, 2013. Prior to getting pregnant I found out I had PCOS at the age of 20. Loosing weight had always been a struggle my entire life and an emotionally draining topic. However, after being diagnosed I was able to control my hormones and with the help of phentermine, diet, and exercise I was able to drop 40 pounds in a little over three months. I found a new me and couldn't of been happier with my results. Not long after my husband and I were blessed to find out we were pregnant, despite being told it would be incredibly hard to conceive. Pregnancy symptoms hit hard and reflected on my overall feeling. I stopped exercising and my cravings were out of control. I weighed about 267 pounds the day I delivered. With a new baby and my appearance of my body negatively affecting my attitude I decided I would take control and start eating right and exercising again. It has been two days since I started the LCHF diet and it hasn't been easy, but I have stayed strong. Welcome to my journey!
